A unique golden tea from Taiwan with a pungent malty flavor akin to craft beer. Considered the finest Oolong variety in the world it is comprised of rich amber leaves with silver tips. Aged to perfection and carefully steamed to slow the fermentation processes this tea has a bouquet that is silky smooth. “Formosa” is Dutch and translates to “Beautiful” which is what the explorers called the island of Taiwan when they arrived.
BREWING INSTRUCTIONS:
1 tsp yields 8 oz brew at 212° and steep 3-4 minutes.
